Hi Everyone,

Welcome to our very special event, “My Life on a Plate”.   I think we all reach milestones along the way as we work our way through life and 2020 marks a very special year for me and there is much to celebrate.  It will be 10 years since I opened the doors to the Cookery School at Llanerch Vineyard and the success we have enjoyed is priceless and I thank you.  It is also 20 years since a BBC Wales series “Hot Stuff” launched itself at prime time into people’s living rooms and as the presenter, it changed my life.  From a small supper club that I ran from my home 23 years ago, came the format for that series and from there came more television series and appearances, along with a range of radio series including “My Life on a Plate”.   It has been such a pleasure and honour to be involved in all of that.

I have been in the food business for 37 years now and I count myself  fortunate to  have travelled, experienced different cultures, work with and for amazing people.  My greatest joy is to be able to share those experiences with you all through everything that we do at the Cookery School.

To celebrate in style, and to thank you for supporting us, we will be hosting a very special supper in the format of demonstration, chat and delicious dining.  I will be taking you on a whistle stop tour of my life in the kitchen, the fun, the drama and the pain!  All mixed up with great food, drink and some special prizes to win!  I am keeping a lid on the menu, but please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will try our best to accommodate you.

I hope you can join me and my fabulous team for an evening to remember.
