This is one of Angela’s favourite courses as it explores the very essence of good cooking- “Flavour”. You will learn how to bring classic flavour combinations together and how to apply them in your everyday cooking. You will roast and blend spices, make aromatic pastes and relishes to form the basis and to accompany some great recipes.
Here an example menu:
* Make a masala curry spice blend and turn it into a Goan Vegetable Curry
* Make a Middle Eastern Harissa Paste and make Shashuka for lunch- we will serve with a fragrant salad using fresh herbs and citrus
* Make a classic Beef Molee Chilli
* Make Mango and Red Chilli Relish, a Coriander, Lime and Almond Relish and an Avocado, Feta and Mint Relish
Angela will also demonstrate some tasters using a variety of flour combinations. It all adds up to a fun packed, skill building day with delicious food to take home.
