MASTERCLASS: BREAD

This is such a fun day! We love making bread at the school and we do it very creatively using our hands, so no machines! Bread marks the beginning of so many feasts and it is such a grounding food to make, extremely gratifying. In this class you will get physical as you learn how to mix, throw, knead, rest and prove a range of doughs and turn them into delicious baked goodies.

Bring some greaseproof paper and a nice basket to wrap up and transport everything home. You will make the following-

* Irish soda bread

* Focaccia and herb breadsticks

* White Farmhouse loaf and seeded rolls

* Rye with carrot, caraway and black strap molasses

* Flat bread with spiced lamb, lebneh and pickled chillies – lunch served with seasonal leaf and herb salad

* Cinnamon buns
